Last night i could not finish kerning a line of text it would just not work for each letter. I am finding V Carve 7 the new one has a lot of bugs some things work better in V6 text kerning in V7 messes up very easy now you add a kern space and all the letters can jumble up on top of each other. So signlab lets you design with 100% much better tools but then you still have problems to deal with. IN Signlab you can do this in the signlab file format but then creating the full sign design in signlab when you save it out and bring it into V Carve none of the text is editable and everything is no longer grouped that way you want it. I need to edit and create single line fonts i do not think any of the programs you listed can do this i have played with a few of them corel and adobe can not from everything i have looked up and tried.ĭo you have any info on making single line fonts that are real single line? V Carve will not provide any info on their single line fonts or how to make one into the file format they use for them.
